Everyone who has heard of Sathya Sai Baba is familiar with his materializations of different objects, whether it is the sacred ash – Vibhuti, or different types of jewelry and memorabilia.
His devotees are also aware that material possessions did not mean anything to him, and that his most prized ”possessions” were his students. Today I want to talk about one of Sai Baba’s greatest students, a rare diamond who has lived and acted in Serbia.
His name is Ljubiša Stojanović (1935.-2014.). It might not be fair to call him Sai Baba’s student, since he has had many teachers, but – due to the fact that Sathya Sai was the one that initiated him into enlightenment in the Prashanti ashram in the year 1998. – Ljubiša himself often called Baba ”his spiritual father.”
This is not just a story about a successful student, but a story of a Master, who reached the same heights as his mentors and idols.
Who is this man and what is his relationship with Sathya Sai Baba? Find out below.
The first steps into the world of wonders
The first step in the sphere of ”paranormal” research for Ljubiša started in 1986. when his brother Branislav purchased a pendulum. People who have sold him the pendulum gave him instructions on how to use it, in other words – how the pendulum; by swinging left or right, ”answers” questions asked by the wielder.
After being blown away by the fact that the pendulum has actually shown correct information, the brothers Stojanović decided to continue this research endeavor.
The next step was researching healing with bioenergy, inspired by an article they stumbled upon those days about a Soviet healer called Eugenia Davitashvili. They have tried imitating her healing method by simply putting the palm of their hand on the body part they wanted to help heal. The first ”patient” was the wife of Branislav with a headache. After putting their hand on her head, the headache subsided in a matter of minutes. This small success was an encouragement for further research in healing methods and spirituality in general.
Contact with the divine
During this period of working with the pendulum, Ljubiša wanted to know the answer to the million dollar question: Who is the one answering the questions asked to the pendulum?
So he has ”hired” a person with extrasensory capabilities, someone who is able to actually see the energy world. The answer was shocking at first, they saw that the information came from a luminous, spherical energy form that was located above them. It transfers the information through the nervous system of the person, affecting the movement of their fingers and thus the answer of the pendulum.
They have called this energy ”the luminous body” and in the following years, started learning more about it, its purpose, and the world of energy in general.
This luminous body has disclosed a lot of important information for humanity, but more importantly – it opened the door for researching other spiritual energies – pure energy forms with no body.
Proof for the skeptics
At this point in the article, skepticism might naturally appear about the validity of these so-called ”contacts with the divine”. Luckily, unlike many, Ljubiša Stojanović actually had a strong desire to cooperate with science, and intended to prove it by working with doctors and college professors. During the period from roughly 1992. to 2000. research has been conducted at the Medical University in Novi Sad in cooperation with Mr. Stojanović that helped him prove his claims about energy healing methods and products that demonstrate paranormal phenomena.

In short, multiple thousand people were healed using non-conventional methods and certain products proved to have capabilities that we can only call ‘’paranormal’’.
So, things that could be proven regarding these contacts with the divine – were indeed proven.
The journey to India and meeting Sathya Sai
These contacts with spiritual energies have put Ljubiša on a fast-track towards great spiritual progress and enlightenment. The spiritual energies gave him certain tasks to fulfill in order to develop spiritually. One of those tasks was visiting and writing a book about the holy places on planet Earth, the so-called ”Places of Power” – where the souls of enlightened Masters reside after their physical death.
As the book was nearing the end of its writing during the year 1998., Ljubiša and his team ended up in Puttaparthi, in the ashram of Sai Baba.
Like all the other visitors, they respectfully sat down on the floor waiting for Sai Baba to appear and bless them. However, something spectacular happened during this visit other than a regular blessing.
At one point, Sai Baba looked directly at Ljubiša and at that moment, Mr. Stojanović saw a big flash of light. Surprised, he asked his friend Luka who was sitting next to him: ”What was that?”, to which Luka answered: ”I have no idea.”
And he did not get an answer until only a couple of years later, when the spiritual energies he had regular contacts with in deep meditation told him that during that flash of light, Sai Baba had initiated him into the first degree of enlightenment.
To my understanding, this was the reward for the 12 years of extensive research into spiritual matters but most importantly – a reward for the completion of the book Places of Power. Of course, the journey did not end here, it was merely the end of phase one, so to speak.
Each student – a gem with a different purpose
I could write hundreds of pages about the work of Teacher Ljubiša, but for the sake of this monthly article in which we celebrate Sai Baba’s birthday, I have distilled the whole story while also trying to give readers some new information surrounding Sai Baba they had never heard before.
Each of us has a certain purpose in this world, and with that purpose come all the necessary tools to accomplish it. The specialty of the man we are talking about, Ljubiša Stojanović, was having very precise contacts and communication with the cosmic energy world. This enabled him to give people knowledge about the cosmos and humanity’s purpose, but also – to answer some questions that have appeared due to sheer curiosity.
One of those questions was – who is Sai Baba? And why did he leave us early?
The answers to these questions cannot be found anywhere else, and even if there was some information, it is only partial. So here is the answer, coming from a cosmic being called Energy Cloud:
Sai Baba is the earthly manifestation of a highly developed being who helps the development of the human race. In the upcoming work to save the planet during its closest pass by the Sun, the help of this spiritual being is indispensable. To properly provide this help, it is necessary for him to act without the limitations of material reality in where people reside. He had to die in order to help all the people who are working to repair the situation around the Earth’s axis. This happened according to the agreement with the spiritual energies and with his conscious consent.
As soon as the described critical activity is completed, this spiritual being will return to Earth as a human. But not in the usual way – as a newborn who has several decades of development ahead of him until an uncertain realization – but as an adult young man capable and ready to immediately help humanity. His latter life will last 100 years.
One should not feel sad about Sai Baba’s death, on the contrary, the significance of his action for humanity is immeasurable. The decision made represents the best possible variant of the greatest general benefit for the human race.
In other words, this cosmic being confirmed that Sai Baba is indeed what his devotees thought he was – an avatar, an incarnation of a spiritual being. Secondly, his death was not an accident, it was a conscious choice in order to prevent possible horrible consequences of our planet getting close to the Sun and thus possibly tilting the Earth’s axis.
If I had to guess, this was the infamous 2012. prophecy that many people have already forgotten about, because nothing bad happened. What they don’t know is the reason nothing bad happened, it was Sai Baba, Ljubiša, and many other people who have worked hard to prevent this cataclysm!
After Sai Baba’s death, Ljubiša has had a couple of contacts with him during deep meditation, where Baba would give him encouragement and advice on realizing certain paranormal feats.
Moral of the story
The message I wanted to share with readers is, there is a lot that is being done behind the curtains!
Who knows what the grand plan of Sai Baba’s is and how everything is going to unfold? What other great students will emerge, what will be their specialty? When will we see the third incarnation of Baba, and will it happen at all?
Sai Baba’s miraculous story is obviously far from over. And I believe the best thing we can do for his birthday is to share the knowledge and the experiences we have with each other. Happy birthday, Swami!
