The Awakening Times (TAT): How did the Mohanji Future Mapping Process originate, and what inspired its creation?

Ivana Kalinić (IK): A few years ago, I was talking to Mohanji, when He suggested that we should come up with a process which will aim to dissolve very paterns that people are carrying throughout their numerous lives and help them align with their highest purpose. He gave exact guidelines and structure and from there technique was developed.

TAT: What makes the Future Mapping Process unique?

IK: The Mohanji Future Mapping Process is unique because its aim is not just to resolve specific traumas or past situations but to dissolve the core patterns causing these traumas and situations to recur. This helps liberate people from bindings, enabling them to lead happier, more fulfilled lives.

TAT: How does the process explore and connect the past, present, and future to identify patterns?

IK: The process is both guided and experiential. Participants are led through various stages of their life journey to identify and understand repetitive behaviors and emotions, as well as their effects on their life and well-being.

TAT: What is the significance of addressing repetitive patterns for achieving alignment with one’s higher purpose?

IK: Repetitive patterns stem from our attachments to positions, possessions, relations, as well as guilt and regret from the past. These attachments bind us. Patterns have repeated in our past and present and will undoubtedly continue into the future unless addressed. During the process, witnessing a future impacted by these patterns can be a shocking and awakening experience. Such realizations help clients understand what needs to change, transforming their outlook and aligning them with their higher purpose.

TAT: How do group sessions differ in dynamics and outcomes compared to individual sessions?

IK: Group sessions cover the span of the participant’s current life, from conception to their death scene. They provide clarity about recurring emotions, fears, and behaviors and offer insights for deeper self-work. Experiencing one’s death during the session also helps release the common fear of death, shifting participants toward living more meaningful lives.

TAT: Individual sessions, on the other hand, are conducted over multiple sessions and delve deeper. They cover not only the current life but also past and future lives, offering a more detailed understanding of patterns and their repetitions. Over time, as the process progresses, these patterns lose their strength until they collapse and dissolve permanently. Such depth naturally requires more time and dedication.

TAT: What were the key takeaways from the first trial group who underwent the process?

IK: The first trial group consisted of my students attending the course. Since the process itself is clear, the key takeaways were mostly related to technical details-how much time to allocate for participants in each scene, refining the session flow, etc.

TAT: Could you share impactful transformations experienced by participants during or after the sessions?

IK: One client came to work on her relationship with her father. During the session, a random shoulder pain she had been experiencing surfaced. We addressed it, and the pain disappeared instantly, never returning. She had spent months consulting doctors and practitioners with no success, and yet the transformation in our session was immediate and profound.

Another client had a recurring pattern of self-sabotage. Whenever she was on the brink of achieving something significant, she would withdraw. This time, she felt blocked in her job search. During our session, we addressed this pattern. Later, she told me that during our session she received a call from a successful company offering her a great contract, which she signed and began working immediately.

TAT: How many certified trainers facilitate this process, and what is required to become one?

IK: Currently, there are only three students undergoing training, making a total of four practitioners, including myself. Training is still in progress, but they have started practicing at the basic level. When I asked Mohanji about the requirements for practitioners, He simply said: “The practitioner should not exist.” This means a deep connection to His consciousness is essential, allowing Him to work without interference from the practitioner’s mind or personality.

TAT: What are the session specifics, including duration, format, and participant requirements?

IK: Group sessions take approximately 1.5 hours and can be repeated as needed. Individual sessions are usually conducted once a month, lasting about an hour each. The pace depends on the client’s readiness to progress, with some requiring longer breaks between sessions as the work deepens.

The only requirement is for clients to be open and willing to trust the process. They must also be ready to let go of their patterns, which requires a genuine inclination toward liberation. Many people don’t recognize the harm in repetitive dynamics and lack the urgency to break the cycle. Some even give up after a few sessions.

TAT: What challenges or insights have instructors experienced when guiding participants through deep patterns?

IK: Practitioners simultaneously observe the client’s experience and perceive what the client is unaware of, including Mohanji’s subtle “background” work. Each session offers profound insights for the practitioner.

However, it is crucial for the practitioner to remain silent and avoid making suggestions. Clients must experience and understand their patterns personally. It can sometimes be challenging to remain patient and allow the process to unfold organically, even if it takes multiple sessions for clients to reach the same realizations.

TAT: How do trainers adapt the process to individual needs while following a structured framework?

IK: The structure of the process is clear and easy to follow. However, each session can take unpredictable turns based on Mohanji’s guidance. This requires practitioners to stay deeply connected to Him and remain flexible to adjust the session’s course as needed.

TAT: What are the typical emotions or realizations participants experience during the sessions?

IK: Common emotions such as anger, sadness, jealousy, resentment, and various ownerships, surface during sessions or to say, clients become aware of them. From a state of alignment, these emotions appear insignificant and binding. Clients often realize what truly matters in life and how they can better utilize their precious time.

TAT: Are there specific techniques used to help participants overcome resistance or fears?

IK: Yes, we use methods to address certain emotions. However, awareness itself is the most effective cure. Once clients become aware of the effects of emotions like fear, they naturally begin to let go of them.

TAT: How do group facilitators manage diverse participant energies?

IK: Facilitators need to align with the group’s energy, sometimes adjusting the energy levels to accommodate everyone’s needs, especially in larger groups. By tuning into the group’s pulse and following Mohanji’s subtle guidance, facilitation becomes effortless and natural.

TAT: What feedback or reflections have participants shared about the depth and impact of the process?

IK: Each session, even with the same client, is unique and profound. Many clients express amazement at how real the experience feels, describing it as an unusual and hard-to-explain sensation. After sessions, I often provide clients with practices or themes to reflect upon, to help them integrate the effects and integrate their insights.

TAT: What safeguards are in place to ensure participants feel safe while addressing emotional or karmic issues?

IK: Participants are gently guided into the process, starting with relaxation, breathing techniques, and other methods to make them feel safe. They are led to witness scenes as observers, maintaining a safe emotional distance. Throughout the process, the practitioner provides emotional support too.

TAT: What are the most rewarding and challenging aspects of leading such a deeply transformative journey?

IK: The most rewarding aspect is witnessing people’s transformations as they align with their highest potential. It is truly a blessing to see their evolution. The main challenge is maintaining consistency, as clients sometimes pause their journey, requiring time to regain momentum or they slip into inertia and it is harder to get back on track later.
